Creative Realms Westmeath

The overarching aim for this project was to bring artists together from westmeath and create a body of work to display to the public and tell new stories and myths. Some of the stories displayed are loosely based on those of Irish mythology or fables with a new look and perspective.  

 

Each story here has been hand crafted by many artists having input into every aspect, from costumes, make up , jewelry and props. Each piece shows off the collective talent and drive from a plethora of artists.

 

These installations are to be hidden around westmeath alongside with behind the scenes interviews and images from each story.  Find clues and interactive maps on our social media and website. Once all installations are hidden around westmeath there will be a campaign of flyers and leaflets to be given to tourists hotspots and information areas with information and a treasure map to find each and every installation.

 

Each installation will be large scale and feature mixed media displays adding more talented artists. We look forward to every getting up and out to find these peices in the near future!
